Mark Mohrlang is the Pastor at Sanctuary CRC, a neighborhood church in Seattle.2 He has served in this role since October 2015.5 Prior to becoming pastor, Mark was the worship director at Sanctuary for eight years.1 He received his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Fuller Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) in 2015.13
Mark is passionate about connecting all areas of life with worship and believes in the importance of pastors engaging with their congregants' workplaces.2 He is also a City Network Leader for Made To Flourish, a Pastor's Network for the Common Good.2
In addition to his pastoral duties, Mark is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry through the Eugene Peterson Center for Pastoral Imagination at Western Theological Seminary.1 He is married to Summer Mohrlang, who also serves as a pastor at Sanctuary CRC, and they have two children.12
Mark is also a musician and occasionally shares his music online.4 His approach to ministry emphasizes the integration of scripture, art, music, community, and prayer in weekly gatherings.1
