Marina Stevenson
Environmental Science Teacher at Luray High School
Marina Stevenson is an experienced environmental educator who is passionate about connecting people to the outdoors and science. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology-Biology from Brown University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Idaho, and studied Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography at Sea Education Association. Marina has worked as a High School Teacher at Luray High School, a Fourth Grade Teacher at Stone Creek Charter School, an Environmental Education Instructor at Mt. Rainier Institute, a Wilderness Instructor at Primitive Pursuits, and more. She is also a certified Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and enjoys volunteering with search and rescue, exploring the great outdoors, writing, and swing dancing.
