- As a consultant, I help companies boost production and improve processes by advising them on leadership and team development. I also review, select, and recommend optimal resources and talent. ● My consulting focuses on golf and sport field companies, with an international reach. For instance, I increased association membership participation in Spain 200% by coordinating networking between European and American golf industry professionals. ● Among my many other accomplishments in this position, I conducted applied research on Bermuda grass greens installation in Spain and Italy. The trial test I led resulted in successful adoption at more than 20 courses in those countries.

- In this role, I led agronomy team of 12 people, attending Tifdwarf Bermuda greens, and Tifway 419 Bermuda tees, fairways and roughs. I oversaw annual and capital budgets and human resource operations, including payroll, scheduling, recordkeeping, and personnel. ● In addition, I developed strategic plans and directed a variety of projects, including best practice creation for agronomics, water conservation, and culture. I also focused on spearheading a communications plan and building relationships with members, guests, and businesses.● My efforts improved the course’s ranking from 53rd to 2nd in the West Metroplex within five years. In addition, I lowered budget expenses 15% with no detrimental effect on operations or service. ● I was recognized as the 2017 TurfNet National Superintendent of the Year and the North Texas Golf Course Superintendent Association (NTGCSA) Superintendent of the Year (2016). In addition, I was a Finalist for the NTGCSA-Golf Course Superintendent of the Year and the Syngenta/Turfnet Golf Course Superintendent of the year (2014, 2015).

- At Aces, I focused on identifying talent and organizing staff teams. My accomplishments in this area included developing a training program to foster staff development that simultaneously helped improve business operations. ● In addition, I oversaw the creation and implementation of agronomic plans, including grass selection to optimize course facilities, and managed a variety of projects related to machinery design, irrigation upgrades, etc. ● In all, I led the design, construction, and maintenance of 6 professional soccer fields, 12 professional baseball fields, 20 golf courses, and 8 sports complexes. My facilities reconstruction and reconditioning projects were completed in record time. ● While at Aces, I represented the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol for Southern Mexico as a supervisor for baseball field renovations, and served as the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador to Mexico.

Aces Golf and Sport Fields

- In this role, I helped created the Agricultural Research Center for Sustainable Export Change (CIACES). The Center formed partnerships with universities in Mexico (University of Chapingo and Tecnológico de Monterrey), the United States (Texas A & M), and Spain (University of Seville). ● With project approval from CONACYT and support from the World Bank, CIACES sponsored applied research to spur the development of tropical crops, quality control, and marketing to support low-income producers. ● The Center placed a heavy emphasis on training local agricultural workers on forming sustainable agriculture export partnerships to improve efficiency and sales, with the end goal of making a positive impact on farmer’s lives. In total, we oversaw the training of 627 farmers.
