Maria Markoulli

Maria Markoulli is a highly qualified professional with an extensive academic background in Optometry. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, a Master's degree, and a Bachelor's degree in Optometry, all from UNSW.

Maria has been actively involved in various organizations within the optometry field. She currently serves as an Ambassador at the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS). Previously, she held positions such as Deputy Editor - Clinical & Experimental Optometry at Optometry Australia, Scientific Director at The Optical Foundation, and Senior Lecturer at UNSW.

Maria Markoulli also has experience working in research and project management roles. She previously worked as a Project Manager and Principal Investigator at the Brien Holden Vision Institute.
