Lara Roy

Lara Roy is a highly experienced higher education administrator, instructional designer, curriculum developer, and educator.

With a strong focus on creating impactful educational experiences for learners in various disciplines, she excels in both traditional and online learning environments.

Her specialties include continuing education, higher education administration, instructional design, teaching and learning methodologies, community partnerships, grant writing, museum education, training development and delivery, volunteer management, and budget management.

Lara's academic background is extensive, holding a Master of Science in Design from Capella University, studying Design and Multimedia at the University of Minnesota, completing a Master of Arts in Art History at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing Art History and Art at Temple University, and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Colorado College.

She has held a key role as the Senior Director of Continuing Education at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she has demonstrated her leadership and expertise in the field.

Previously, Lara worked as a Freelance Instructor/Consultant, showcasing her versatility and knowledge in various educational settings.
