Allison Gillies M.F.A. brings over 17 years of Faculty and Administrative Experience and has taught over 230 College courses. She excels in Curricula Development, Design Hierarchy, Pedagogy, Graduate Faculty, and serves on Student Success Committees.

With a strong digital background, Allison is proficient in Mac and PC systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Wacom, and various teaching technologies like Blackboard, Canvas, Pearson Arts Lab, and Connect e-campus.

Allison has received consistent excellent student and faculty evaluations from institutions like Dallas College, Collin College, Tarrant County College, Texas Woman's University, and the Art Institute of Dallas. She has taught a wide range of courses from 2D Design to Art History and offers workshops on diverse topics like Encaustic, Printmaking, and Illustration.

Allison's educational background includes an M.F.A. magna cum laude in Painting, Drawing, Art History, Papermaking, Printmaking, and Bookmaking from Texas Woman's University. She also holds a B.F.A. summa cum laude in Fine Arts from the University of North Florida and has studied at the Art Institute of Dallas and Miami University.

She has held positions as a Professor of Art at North Lake College, Associate Faculty at Collin College, Adjunct Professor at Tarrant County College, Full-time Adjunct Professor at Texas Woman's University, Assistant Professor at The Art Institutes, and has served as an Adjunct Professor and GTA at Texas Woman's University.
