Kyle Drerup

Kyle Drerup is a passionate engineer with a focus on Communications Systems, Sensor Systems, Hardware Design, FPGAs, and Signal Processing. He excels in data visualization and numerical analysis to optimize system design trade-offs. Kyle has extensive experience in communications waveform design, RF/microwave TX/RX Design, and FPGA/SoC Design. He is adept at requirements analysis, custom waveform design, cascade analysis, system design and optimization, as well as implementation. His skills include schematic design, layout, bring-up, tuning, and debugging of various components like LNAs, RF filters, Power Amplifiers, mixers, PLL/Synthesizers, and more. Kyle's FPGA/SoC design proficiency spans projects involving Software Defined Radio FPGA implementation and signal processing using MATLAB, Simulink, VHDL, and Verilog across platforms like Microsemi, Xilinx, and Altera. He is proficient in MATLAB, Python, VHDL, Verilog, and Scala(CHISEL), with prior experience in C, C++, Assembly, and C#. Kyle pursued his BS in Electrical Engineering at Ohio University and has worked in roles such as Engineer at CV, RF Sensor Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Hardware Engineer at Vanteon Corporation, and intern positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation and General Dynamics Land Systems.
