Kate Wilke is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in marine policy and biology. She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Marine Policy and a Master of Science (MS) in Marine Biology (Fisheries) from the University of Maine, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Bowling Green State University.
Throughout her career, Kate has been involved in various organizations and roles, showcasing her expertise and commitment to the field. She is currently serving as an Appointed Member at the MID-ATLANTIC FISHERY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL, where she contributes her knowledge and skills to fisheries management in the region.
Previously, Kate held positions such as Fisheries Scientist in the Mid-Atlantic Seascape at The Nature Conservancy, Biologist - Professional Contractor in the Science Branch at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Biologist - Species at Risk at Fisheries & Oceans Canada, and Consultant at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Her experience also includes serving as a Project Manager at Memorial University and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maine.
