    Kate Moomaw is a highly qualified art conservator with a strong educational background in Art History, Studio Art, Chemistry, and Materials Science.

    She holds a Master's degree in Art Conservation and Art History from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Art History, Studio Art, Chemistry, and Materials Science from the University of Virginia.

    Kate has held prominent positions in prestigious institutions such as the Denver Art Museum, where she currently serves as the Assistant Conservator of Modern and Contemporary Art.

    Prior to her role at the Denver Art Museum, she was a Smithsonian Postgraduate Fellow in Conservation at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, a Conservation Fellow at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and a Sculpture Conservation Fellow at Tate.
