Contemporary Art Conservator & Chinese Translator
Joy Bloser is an accomplished Art Conservator with expertise in modern and contemporary object conservation. She is also a proficient Chinese-English translator of art-based texts. Currently serving as an Assistant Objects Conservator at the prestigious Menil Collection in Houston, TX. Joy has a diverse educational background, including a MS/MA in the Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works and History of Art & Archaeology from NYU Institute of Fine Arts. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature, Art History, and has studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Colorado at Denver.
