    Kakasaheb Nandiwale is a budding chemical engineer who specializes in process safety management, chemical hazard analysis, and life-cycle assessment. Nandiwale has amassed a wealth of research experience in flow chemistry, technical research methods, and continuous process development systems. He has an eye for kinetic modeling, reaction engineering, catalyst development, and biomass conversion. With over 26 publications, one US patent issued, and more than 25 conference presentations, Nandiwale has proven to have effective scientific communication skills.     Nandiwale studied at reputable institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Postdoctoral Research), The University of Kansas (Doctor of Philosophy), and the University Institute of Chemical Technology (Master of Technology). Additionally, he had his Bachelor of Engineering degree in biotechnology at Shivaji University and finished his high school science curriculum at Fergusson College.

    Currently, Nandiwale is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT, working with Professor Klavs F. Jensen. His current research explores the multiphase continuous flow manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, automated process optimization, and separation of APIs. Nandiwale's project involves the creation of a multipurpose automated optimization platform for reactions involving solids.
