Julianne Gauron

Julianne Gauron is the User Experience Team Lead at Ipsos, a position she has held since June 2022. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, her role involves designing, managing, and executing customer-focused research programs, particularly for major clients such as Google and Microsoft. Her work spans various topics, including YouTube advertising, VPN usage, and smartphone usage, where she manages client expectations and participant interviews.12
Gauron has a rich background in design and storytelling. Before her current role, she spent a decade in the design industry, which included significant ethnographic field research experiences, such as embedding in a nursing home and working with elite athletes from the U.S. Navy's SEAL Team Six. This experience informs her approach to visual storytelling and user experience.1
In addition to her role at Ipsos, Gauron is also a freelance photographer, focusing on documentary narrative photography. She has directed branded documentary films and has received accolades for her work, including an Adweek ARC Award for Brand Storytelling in 2019.1 Gauron holds a Master’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College.1
