John Spear is a seasoned hotelier and the General Manager of the Hotel Drisco, a hidden gem in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. With a background in Political Science and French Language and Literature, he brings a worldly perspective to hospitality. Prior to his current role, John held leadership positions at Woodside Hotels and Joie de Vivre Hotels. He also has experience in technology consulting and nonprofit work. John's expertise lies in managing luxury boutique hotels and driving excellence in customer service. He is a graduate of Carleton College and has studied abroad at the University of Paris - Sorbonne and the University of Pau et des Pays de l'Adour. When he's not delighting guests at the Hotel Drisco, John enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.
