John Schmieding is a retired professional with a strong background in mediation and education.

Having studied Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Social Science and Education at Michigan State University, John has a solid academic foundation.

Throughout his career, he served in various roles such as Director Emeritus, Chair, and Director at different organizations, showcasing his leadership abilities.

John's passion for mediation is evident from his tenure at Athens Area Mediation Service and his involvement with the Athens Community Relations Commission.

His experience as a teacher of K to 2nd grade and as a coordinator at River Valley Community School reflects his commitment to education.
