Jim Emmerling

Jim Emmerling is a seasoned logistics leader with extensive expertise in various areas ranging from strategic planning to warehouse operations. Jim’s experience includes management of continuous improvement and engineering, finance, and customer relations to business development. He is a logical planner who creates a clear and concise vision with high standards for himself and his team, proactively seeking input from all team members to facilitate process and workplace improvements.

Jim has studied at St. Paul High and earned a BA in Business Administration from California State University. Jim’s extensive experience includes serving as President of Pacific Coast Warehouse Co. (PCWC). Jim was also Senior VP of Operations and Business Development at Weber Logistics, a Vice President of Operations at Weber Logistics, an Executive Vice President at Aspen Logistics, and Vice President/Minority Partner at Liberty Logistics. He was also Vice President - Western Region at USCO Logistics and Regional Vice President at Kuehne & Nagel.

Jim’s current industry intelligence comes from his active memberships in WERC and IWLA, combined with an emphasis on creativity that drives innovation. Jim’s balanced approach is evidenced by his ability to measure performance and recognize achievements while soliciting input on process and workplace improvement from all team members.
