Jessica Nordell

Jessica Nordell is a prominent science writer with a diverse writing portfolio, including publications in The Atlantic, The New York Times, The New Republic, The Washington Post, Star Tribune, and Slate.

She is the author of THE END OF BIAS: A BEGINNING, set to be released by Metropolitan Books in 2021, showcasing her expertise in addressing bias-related topics.

Jessica holds an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University and an MFA in Poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, demonstrating her multidisciplinary academic background.

Her accolades include the Gracie Award from American Women in Radio and Television, as well as being recognized as the Best New Poet in 2015 and featured in a U. Virginia anthology edited by Tracy K. Smith.

Apart from her writing endeavors, Jessica has been involved in various roles such as independent journalist, book author, senior creative, creative consultant, and teacher at institutions like Macmillan, Zeus Jones, Arketype INC, and Bard High School Early College Queens.
