Hanson Hosein
Seattle, Washington, United StatesHanson Hosein is a renowned journalist, filmmaker, and education leader, with a background in multimedia storytelling. He has extensive experience in media production, content creation, communications strategy, and leadership development. Hanson is the Co-Founder and former Director of the Communication Leadership graduate program at the University of Washington, where he teaches and mentors the next generation of communication leaders. He is also the President of HRH Media Group LLC, a media production and communications strategy firm. Hanson is a pioneer in multimedia storytelling and has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Emmy and an Overseas Press Club award. He is the author of "Storyteller Uprising: Trust & Persuasion in the Communication Age," which documents his experiences as a solo TV war correspondent for MSNBC and CBC. Hanson has also produced and directed documentary films, including the "Independent America" series, which has been broadcast and streamed worldwide.
Hanson is presently Co-Principal of MIRA! - Mobilize Innovation, Reimagine Agency! - a community-first approach to learning and innovation. He is passionate about recalibrating the power dynamic between people and technology. Hanson has law degrees from McGill University and the University of Paris, and a master's in journalism from Columbia University.
