Jessica Egan is a dedicated instructional design professional with over a decade of experience at the intersection of teaching and technology. Currently, she serves as the Coordinator of Instructional Design at Holyoke Community College, where she brings her extensive knowledge to support over 300 faculty members. Her role is pivotal in promoting professional development, enhancing curriculum development, and ensuring thorough planning and assessment processes across the college.
In addition to her responsibilities at Holyoke Community College, Jessica also contributes to the academic community by teaching online English composition courses, utilizing Open Educational Resources (OER) textbooks that she authored herself. Her teaching role extends to her involvement in the Women as Empowered Learners and Leaders (WELL) program at The American Women’s College at Bay Path University, further highlighting her commitment to empowering students and advocating for gender equity in education.
