•	Managed annual budget for custom research supporting ad sales efforts across all Discovery properties (Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, TLC, etc.), linearly, digitally and cross-platform.  		
•	Translated needs of internal (Ad Sales, Marketing, etc.) and external (Advertisers and Agencies) clients into appropriate research objectives leading to methodologically sound research designs and actionable results.
•	Oversaw advertising effectiveness research via 3rd party vendors, including brand/store visit/sales lift, and studies utilizing internal, proprietary research panel.  
•	Oversaw the work product of a team of five as well as multiple vendors.

•	Executed ~250 custom, primary research studies for advertising partners between 2010 and 2017 via in-house research panel.  Included creative testing, category insights, attitudes and usage, Pre-Post campaign measurement. 
•	Used primary, secondary and syndicated sources to identify and interpret macro consumer, economic, market, technology and media trends to inform strategic decision-making, positioning and press.

•	Managed predominantly quantitative, custom research studies focusing on understanding and leveraging clients' core equities into marketplace opportunities. 
•	Constructed research instruments based on clients’ marketing objectives. Topics included: Attitudes and usage, Market segmentation, Ad sales, Website optimization, Concept testing. Direct clients included:  BET Networks, Disney ABC Cable Networks, People Magazine, This Old House and Capital One. 
•	Developed proposals in response to client initiatives and RFPs (Included: quantitative and qualitative methodologies, analysis strategizing and project pricing).
•	Analyzed data tabulations, crafted insightful, actionable reports and presented research findings to clients.
•	Developed and subsequently managed multiple proprietary online consumer research panels/communities.
•	Oversaw the work product of two Research Managers, as well as multiple vendors.
