Jeremy Leslie is a highly experienced professional with 35 years of expertise in the magazine industry.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in designing various publications, both in print and digital formats, and has also managed his own design studio and held senior management positions in major publishing companies.
In addition to his design work, Jeremy has established himself as a respected figure in magazine design commentary and education, having authored multiple books on the subject and contributing to the magCulture online Journal.
Under the magCulture brand, he engages in design consultancy, interacts with publishers, organizes events, assesses new magazines, and engages in writing endeavors.
Jeremy's significant contributions to the field were recognized when he curated the inaugural ModMag conference in 2013, now known as magCulture Live, an annual event held in London during Autumn, with a New York edition commencing in Spring from 2018 onwards.
He further expanded his impact by opening the magCulture shop in 2015, known for its diverse collection of over 500 magazines from around the globe and hosting the monthly magCulture Meets talks.
In 2018, Jeremy Leslie was honored with the prestigious Mark Boxer Award by the British Society of Magazine Editors in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the magazine industry.
Jeremy pursued his education at the London College of Printing, where he achieved a First in BA Art & Design, following earlier studies at Latymer Upper School.
Currently, Jeremy serves as the Creative Director at magCulture, with previous roles including Curator at magCulture Live and Colophon, Executive Creative Director at John Brown Publishing, Principal at Design Jeremy Leslie, Group Art Director at Time Out Group, and Art Director at Blitz magazine.
