Jennifer Marcus

Jennifer Marcus is the Executive Director of the Taylor Geospatial Engine, a nonprofit organization focused on accelerating the commercialization of geospatial innovation. She is the inaugural director of this initiative, which aims to foster innovation in the geospatial sector.

Before her role at the Taylor Geospatial Engine, Marcus spent six years as Vice President at Planet Labs, where she built and led the U.S. Federal Government business. Her experience also includes developing the U.S. Federal Government practice at an open-source geospatial software company for four years, managing geospatial R&D investments for a defense contractor for over a decade, and working as a technical consultant at Esri. Marcus is known for her ability to integrate emerging technology with company strategy, contributing significantly to the geospatial industry.123
