Jazmin Cameron

Jazmin Cameron embarked on her career as a union organizer in the Southwest advocating for state and county employees. She transitioned into the K-12 education nonprofit sector, engaging with various stakeholders including educators, students, and system leaders to promote educational equity. Jazmin has a profound commitment to supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color educators in fostering civic leaders dedicated to equity in education. She has spearheaded recruitment initiatives for a community-based school network emphasizing an anti-racist and abolitionist teaching approach centered on love and care for the community. Jazmin seeks consulting opportunities aligned with community empowerment, decolonization, and dismantling White supremacist structures. She is interested in collaborating with creatives who embed abolition and liberation in their artwork while actively participating in anti-apartheid and anti-occupation movements. Her specialties lie in team building, relationship cultivation through collaboration, implementing racially equitable hiring practices, and supporting campaigns through compelling storytelling and outreach.
