Jazmin Cameron embarked on her career as a union organizer in the Southwest advocating for state and county employees. She transitioned into the K-12 education nonprofit sector, engaging with various stakeholders including educators, students, and system leaders to promote educational equity. Jazmin has a profound commitment to supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color educators in fostering civic leaders dedicated to equity in education. She has spearheaded recruitment initiatives for a community-based school network emphasizing an anti-racist and abolitionist teaching approach centered on love and care for the community. Jazmin seeks consulting opportunities aligned with community empowerment, decolonization, and dismantling White supremacist structures.
