Jarin Tasnim

Jarin Tasnim is a dedicated individual currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in biochemistry at McMaster University.

She is enthusiastic about the field of genetic counseling and seeks opportunities to shadow genetic counselors to gain more insight into the profession.

Jarin is keen on conducting her undergraduate thesis at McMaster University focusing on genetics, biochemistry, or cellular biology in a research lab during the summer and her fourth year.

Her future aspirations include pursuing a Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or Genetic Research.

With a passion for working with children, Jarin has volunteered in various programs, including reading with young children, some with mental disabilities, throughout high school, and continued her involvement at McMaster University with the MakeBelieve program.

She prides herself on possessing exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong drive that enables her to excel in her work and adapt to new environments effectively.
