He served as City Manager from 2017 to 2021 and was the Assistant City Manager from 1996 to 2017.1 Buston has a background in executive leadership and information technology, holding a BS degree from Oregon State University and an MS degree from Auburn University. He also completed programs at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina.
