Jacob Massaquoi
Jacob Massaquoi is a skilled business leader and social entrepreneur with years of experience in the non-profit sector. He studied Management and later pursued a Master of Business Administration in Psychology from American Intercontinental University.
Throughout his career, Jacob has been dedicated to social good and has founded several organizations that provide critical support to underrepresented communities. He co-founded African Refuge, a nonprofit that provides assistance and resources to refugees and asylum-seekers. He also founded Free Teens Liberia/Iave Liberia, which supports young people in Liberia through education and mentorship programs.
Jacob's experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at the International Trauma Studies Program, where he was involved in conducting research on the effect of trauma on individuals and communities. Additionally, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Call Management, a call center that provides employment opportunities for young people in Liberia.
His contributions to the nonprofit sector were recognized when he was awarded the Meritorious Service Award by the Liberian government for his work on behalf of vulnerable youth. Jacob is also the founder and chairman of Doctorroots, an organization that promotes traditional medicine and supports local healers.
