Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, recognized for his significant contributions to Africa's tech ecosystem. He is the co-founder and General Partner of Future Africa, a venture capital fund that invests in early-stage startups across the continent, providing them with capital, coaching, and community support. Future Africa has invested in over 100 companies, collectively valued at over $6 billion, focusing on sectors such as fintech, edtech, healthtech, and agritech.135
Born on March 28, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria, Aboyeji completed his secondary education at Loyola Jesuit College before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo in Canada.25 He co-founded Andela in 2014, which trains software engineers and has significantly impacted the tech talent landscape in Africa. In 2016, he co-founded Flutterwave, a leading payments technology company that has processed over $2 billion in transactions and achieved unicorn status.245
Aboyeji has also been recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and was included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list for his contributions to innovation and investment in Africa.
