Juan Rivera is a seasoned professional with over twenty-five years of experience in product development.

Currently serving as the engineering lead for Microsoft Teams, he focuses on enhancing the platform with advanced calling, meeting, and device capabilities alongside leveraging AI for innovative solutions.

Rivera's dedication to customer success drives his team to develop pioneering unified communications solutions, from enterprise voice to voice automation.

He is actively involved in exploring the transformative potential of generative AI in collaboration, aiming to create intelligent and personalized user experiences.

With a background in coding and development, Rivera remains deeply connected to the tech community and drives seamless integration of innovative solutions with Teams through collaborations with hardware vendors.

His vision is to redefine digital communication and collaboration boundaries by prioritizing customer success and embracing the possibilities of generative AI.

Rivera holds a Master's degree in Software Development and Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de Puerto Rico.

Formerly holding key leadership positions at Microsoft and Citrix, he has also founded the Jayuya STEM Scholarship initiative.

His extensive experience spans roles such as Corporate Vice President, Chairman & Founder, SVP of Workspace Engineering, VP of Cloud & Server Engineering, among others.
