    Harley K. Dubois, a prominent figure in the Burning Man community, is renowned as one of the six original founders of Burning Man and currently serves as the Chief Culture Officer of the organization.

    With over 25 years of experience in leadership, project management, art, and city planning, Harley plays a crucial role in mentoring senior staff, developing learning tools, and guiding the expansion of Burning Man culture globally.

    During her tenure as the City Manager of Black Rock City for more than a decade, Harley oversaw various departments to ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens of the city, emphasizing the importance of placing culture at the forefront.

    Harley's involvement extends to serving on the boards of organizations like Illuminate, KALW, and Nation of Makers, showcasing her dedication to supporting initiatives focused on art, community, and minimizing consumption.

    She was a founding member of the Black Rock Arts Foundation, where she actively contributed to fostering artistic endeavors through grants and collaborations with Burning Man Project.

    Having played a significant role as the Chief Transition Officer, Harley led the successful merger of Black Rock City LLC, BRAF, and Burners Without Borders into the cohesive entity of the Burning Man Project.

    Her educational background includes studies at Queen's University and Cal State Hayward, further enriching her expertise in the diverse fields of art, culture, and community development.
