Haluk Ogmen

Dr. Haluk Ogmen is a distinguished academic professional serving as the Senior Associate Dean and Professor at the University of Denver since 2016. Prior to this role, he was a prominent faculty member at the University of Houston (UH) for nearly three decades, from 1988 to 2016. During his tenure at UH, Dr. Ogmen held various key positions including Department Chair of Electrical & Computer Engineering from 2004 to 2009 and Executive Director of the Center for NeuroEngineering & Cognitive Science from 2002 to 2016. He also contributed as a Visiting Scientist at prestigious institutions such as the University of Bremen in 2004 and the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute from 1995 to 1996.
