Gary Helminski, MS, AIA, NCARB

Gary Helminski, an accomplished architect and seasoned real estate professional, brings over 35 years of experience in the industry. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University, Helminski has played a crucial role in some of the most significant mixed-use developments, re-developments, acquisitions, and dispositions worth over $25 billion. As the East Region Lead for Project & Development Services and Director of Development at Cushman & Wakefield, he manages consulting real estate practices, including office, residential, retail, hospitality, entertainment, healthcare, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.

Helminski's goal is to have a measurable impact on the built environment and connect the workplace, residential, and retail urban cores to the community through creative place-making. His expertise in urban planning, architecture, design, real estate, and business enables him to develop strategic plans that benefit the built environment. He has broad leadership experience and has previously worked at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, 3D/International, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM).

Helminski is a member of several prominent organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, CoreNet, and NAIOP. He is a member of the Urban Revitalization Council and participates in several community services. His approach and expertise have earned him recognition and respect from both clients and colleagues alike.
