Gabriela de Salles van der Linden
Gabriela is a Brazilian venture capitalist with over a decade of experience in the industry. She is a founding member of the Aquila Healthcare Fund and responsible for the venture capital strategy. Gabriela focuses on seed to series B investments in digital health and medical devices startups. Prior to her work with Aquila, Gabriela was a partner at CRP Companhia de Participações, a pioneering VC firm in Brazil, where she spearheaded early-stage investments and participated in over 20 deals in the south of Brazil. Gabriela also launched the Open Innovation area of the D´Or Institute, focusing on research, education, and innovation in health. Gabriela has an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and attended executive training from Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, and Babson College. Gabriela is a board member of Impacto por Elas, a network of well-connected women that advocates for impact investment, diversity, and ESG practices.
