He took on the challenge of revitalizing Banco Arbi S.A in 2002, implementing management controls compliant with regulatory requirements and steering the institution towards operational profitability.

With experience in institutions like Banco Industrial do Brasil S.A., Banco BVA S.A., Banco Credibanco S.A., and Banco Safra S.A., Luis has expertise in asset management, loan operations, investment banking, and project finance.

Luis Pessoa's educational background includes studies at Colégio Bahiense and a degree in Administration from Universidade Santa Úrsula.

Currently, Luis is the CEO of Distrito de Inovação e Sustentabilidade, focusing on Venture Capital, Open Innovation, and ESG initiatives.
