Anuraag Bukkuri

Anuraag Bukkuri is a rising star in the field of mathematical and theoretical evolutionary biology, exploring connections between ecology and oncology using rigorous mathematics. He is currently a first-year PhD student in Integrated Mathematical Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center, where he also works as a graduate research assistant. Before starting his PhD, Anuraag studied mathematics, computer science, and biology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and evolutionary biology, computational neuroengineering, and mathematics at Dartmouth College.

Anuraag's experience is diverse and impressive; he has previously conducted research at The National Institutes of Health, Dartmouth College, Ohio State University, Harvard Medical School, and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology. He has also held various positions, including director of business development at The Badger Group, LLC and academic tutor at Dartmouth College.

Throughout his career, Anuraag has maintained a focus on mathematical modeling in biological systems. He is highly skilled in using mathematical and computational tools to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms driving cancer, evolution, and ecology. Anuraag's expertise as a mathematical biologist is further bolstered by his NSF graduate research fellowship in Mathematical Sciences.
