Kristy Duran is an accomplished Professor of Biology with a remarkable track record in higher education. With a focus on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, she earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Colorado Boulder after completing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Neuroscience from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from The University of New Mexico.
Dr. Duran's expertise lies in Data Analysis, Academic Advising, Science, Public Speaking, and Curriculum Development, which she honed during her tenure as Associate Professor of Biology, Assistant Professor at Adams State University, and Assistant Professor at Colorado Mesa University. She also served as the Faculty Director of Undergraduate Research at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
