Erin Lothson, JD, CIPP/US, is a seasoned business partner and General Counsel with over 15 years of experience, specializing in risk management, compliance, and business operations.

As the current GC and member of the senior leadership team at Dandy, a rapidly growing software company focusing on a digital dental OS and a nationwide lab network, Erin is dedicated to fostering strategic advice and supporting businesses in scaling amidst dynamic regulatory and market landscapes.

Recognized for her skills in building lasting relationships, promoting corporate cultures of integrity, and grasping business drivers for optimal outcomes, Erin emphasizes the role of a corporate lawyer as a proactive and strategic adviser.

During her tenure as the Deputy GC for Uber Freight, Erin played a pivotal role in significant achievements such as managing the legal integration of the 2.2B acquisition of Transplace and negotiating a groundbreaking deal with Waymo amidst previous Uber-Google litigations.

Erin's diverse background spans from IP and litigation, honed during her time as in-house counsel at Groupon and as an associate at prominent law firms like DLA Piper and Swanson, Martin & Bell.

Her educational background includes a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, participation in a Pre-Law Program at the University of Oxford, and a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from The Ohio State University.

Erin has held leadership roles at various organizations including serving as General Counsel at Dandy, Vice President Legal at Uber Freight, Assistant General Counsel at Groupon, and as an Associate Attorney at DLA Piper and Swanson, Martin & Bell.
