Adam Braun is a successful entrepreneur, author, and advocate for global education and climate change. He is the founder and CEO of Climate Club, a startup focused on reversing climate change. Before this, Adam founded Pencils of Promise, an award-winning charity organization that has built over 550 schools worldwide and helped over 100,000 students across different countries. He was also a co-founder and CEO of MissionU, a debt-free college alternative that was acquired by WeWork in 2018. Following this, Adam became the COO of WeGrow.
Adam is a graduate of Brown University, where he studied economics, sociology, and public & private sector organizations. He is also an author of the New York Time's bestseller book, The Promise of a Pencil: How an Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change. With his entrepreneurial background and passion for social impact, Adam has been recognized by Business Insider's 40 Under 40, Wired Magazine’s “50 People Who Are Changing the World,” and was selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s first ten Global Shapers.
