Eda Levenson
Founder
Eda Levenson is the Co-Founder of Scope of Work (SOW), a talent development agency for young creatives of color that aims to establish equity in the creative industry.2 She founded SOW in 2016 alongside Geneva White, both of whom are women artists and educators of color with over a decade of experience in youth development and arts education.17
SOW operates at the intersection of racial justice and financial equity for young BIPOC people.1 The organization was born out of a desire to open up job channels for creative people of color and address the lack of representation in the creative industry.6
Prior to founding SOW, Levenson had experience working at Lady Fancy Nails.5 She has a strong educational background and has been involved with various organizations throughout her career.
Levenson, along with her co-founder Geneva White, has shared their experiences of founding SOW at events, discussing their mission to create opportunities for underrepresented young people in the creative field.3 Their work is based out of New York, where they operate their talent development agency.4
