Mariah Brandt

Mariah Brandt is an accomplished civil litigator and trial lawyer, known for her ability to resolve complex business disputes and class actions through negotiation, arbitration or trial. With a focus on business litigation, Mariah has worked with leading names spanning various sectors including entertainment, banking, healthcare, and technology, solving cases involving intellectual property, contract, policyholder insurance coverage and consumer privacy. Prior to joining Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP where she currently serves as a Partner, Mariah completed her studies in Law and Political Science, Minor in English at the University of California, Los Angeles.

At Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Mariah serves as the firmwide Chair of On-Campus Recruiting, leading efforts to attract new talent to the company. Experienced in federal and state trial and appellate courts, Mariah is also skilled in arguing motions for dismissal of claims, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions and discovery orders.

In her career, Mariah has managed all stages of large-scale litigations, been lead counsel in several jury trials and has crafted winning appellate briefs. Before joining Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, she held the position of TAP at the LA City Attorney and was a Senior Associate at the same company.
