With a Certificate of Completion in Public Administration, Organizational Leadership & Entrepreneurship from the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Community and Regional Development from UC Davis, Dwight Smith brings a solid academic foundation to his career.

Throughout his career, Dwight has held significant positions such as Senior Manager at the Groundwater Institute, Executive Director of Athletics Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and ICA Diversity Equity and Inclusion Lead at the University of California, Davis.

Moreover, he has served in pivotal roles including Student Athlete Outcomes Advisor, Associate Director of Programs at Beyond 12, and Member of the Board of Directors at Pact An Adoption Alliance and Coro Center for Civic Leadership, Northern California.
