Donna McNicol is a highly accomplished senior HR executive with over 25 years of experience leading teams and developing strategies in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. With a CHRE certification and certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors, McNicol is a respected leader in the field of HR and corporate governance. She has led initiatives related to corporate social responsibility, community investment, and employee wellness, and has a wealth of experience in developing and implementing HR strategies for large organizations.

Before joining Merchants as Chief People Officer, McNicol held senior HR positions at Millennium 1 Solutions and TELUS. She has also served as an independent consultant and strategic advisor to organizations such as Sprout At Work. In addition to her HR expertise, McNicol has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as Senior Vice President of Community Investment and Wellness Strategy at TELUS.
