Denisa Horak

Denisa Horak is a professional with over 10 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, event management, creative design, branding, and customer relations. She has a proven track record of strong leadership skills in leading multidisciplinary teams towards achieving common objectives.

Denisa's career includes roles in both the Canadian public and private sectors. In 2011, she became the Marketing Manager at the Canadian Commercial Corporation, a federal Crown corporation focused on facilitating international trade for Canadian industry, particularly within government procurement markets. Her duties involve strategic marketing, event management, branding, and partner relations.

Prior to her current position, from 2008 to 2011, Denisa served as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP, the largest independent law firm in the National Capital Region. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing all marketing, communications, and business development endeavors at the firm.

Denisa Horak is proficient in both Mac and PC environments, with advanced knowledge of various software tools including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), as well as Content Management Systems such as Wordpress and Sitecore, Customer Relationship Management systems, and email marketing platforms.

Denisa pursued her education by studying Honours Bachelor of Commerce at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne.
