David Yáñez

David Garrote Yáñez is a Senior People & Culture Manager with extensive experience in talent attraction, management, and development. He has been recognized for his achievements in the HR field, including being named "Best HR Specialist" at the 2019 AQ Awards. David participated in Lidl’s International High Potential Program, spending nine months in the Netherlands in 2023 as part of his professional development. He currently works as an HR Senior Consultant for Lidl Nederland.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from EF Business School, completed with a full excellence scholarship. Additionally, he has pursued postgraduate studies in Digital Business at The Valley Digital Business School. Beyond his corporate role, he is an educator, contributing as a professor at institutions such as EF Business School, UNIR, and the University Complutense of Madrid.

He is also a co-author of the book Rendimiento de Grupo en el Emprendedor and has contributed to numerous publications on organizational psychology and behavioral sciences. His leadership has earned Lidl España recognition for employer branding and talent integration strategies.12
