Daniel Broockmann

Daniel Broockmann is a highly experienced Cultural Resources specialist with a background spanning 20 years in archaeological practice and methods.

His expertise includes a wide range of activities such as literature reviews, surveys, testing, and excavations, along with compliance with regulations such as Section 106, National Register of Historic Places nominations, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Mr. Broockmann has undertaken projects in various regions across the United States, like the Northeast, Great Plains, Southwest, California, Great Basin, and Northwest, as well as internationally in Bolivia and Haiti.

He has managed field projects for diverse clients including the U.S. Department of Defense (Navy, Air Force), Federal land management agencies (U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management), local government bodies (City of Fruitland, Idaho City), and local developers and property management groups.

In addition to his archaeological work, Mr. Broockmann is well-versed in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and various forms of geospatial analysis, engaging in analyses for cultural resource projects as well as other disciplines like noise, population, land use, and more.

His skill set extends to permaculture, sustainable design, natural building, water and sanitation, development, and education.

Daniel Broockmann's educational background includes a Master's degree and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology (Archaeology Specific)/Theatre from Binghamton University.
