Dr. Charbel Rizk, with a PhD, currently serves as the CTO of Oculi and as an Associate Research Professor at JHU ECE.
Prior to November 2016, he held various prestigious positions at JHU APL such as Principal Professional Staff, Systems/Lead Engineer, S&T Advisor, and Innovation Lead.
Dr. Rizk has a strong background in innovative technology with multiple intellectual property filings and has received 12 achievement/recognition awards.
He is lauded as a top innovator, successful Principal Investigator, and expert in fields like signal and image processing, machine vision, AI, sensors, robotics, autonomy, and systems engineering.
A pioneer in UAV technology, Dr. Rizk led the development of the first quad rotor UAV system in the early 90s.

Throughout his career, he has provided technical support to senior DOD leadership and large defense programs, showcasing effective leadership and collaboration with various organizations.
