Cary Barbor is a seasoned media veteran with a diverse background in radio production, podcasting, writing, and editing.

With a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Lafayette College, an M.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and further studies at Birkbeck, U. of London, Cary has a strong educational foundation.

Cary has held various roles in reputable organizations such as being a Host at WGCU Public Media for All Things Considered, a Writer, Editor, and Radio Producer at Freelance, a Host and Producer at Books and Authors, and a Fiction Writer at Literary Fiction among others.

Formerly, Cary has contributed significantly as a Senior Editor at Gulfshore Business Magazine, an Associate Producer and Host at Martha Stewart Living Radio, a Production Intern at WNYC Radio working on The Leonard Lopate Show and Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen, as well as holding editorial positions at magazines like More, Hearst Quick and Simple, and Weight Watchers.
