George Sargent

George Sargent is a highly accomplished journalist with a strong educational background. He pursued a Master's Degree in Print Journalism at The University of Sheffield, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, achieving a 2:1 from the University of Leeds.

Throughout his career, George has held key roles at renowned organizations in the journalism industry. He served as the UGC Editor at Reuters, showcasing his expertise in user-generated content. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience as a Producer at Thomson Reuters. George also excelled as the Acting Global Head of User-generated Content at Reuters within the Thomson Reuters group, highlighting his leadership skills and industry knowledge. His early roles included positions as a Freelance Producer and Reporter at Thomson Reuters and Newsquest, respectively.
