I am a proud co-founder of Kensa Health where we are working hard to improve communication between women and medical professionals. 84% of women say their medical needs are not listened to. We are here to fix that. 

Since founding the company with Dr Rose Abbott, I have helped grow our team of female medical professionals who contribute to our women's health library and our anywhere, anytime video health courses for women and businesses.  

As a founder of a pre-seed startup, I'm used to wearing a lot of hats. At Kensa, I have:
- Build the website, inlcuding the online course platform 
- Created the intial marketing strategy and now manage our marketing agency 
- Co-wrote funding applications, with a success in securing both EPIC and Aerospace funding   
- Ongoing management of our personal health profile app 

I believe in a lean agile approach, and have been working hard to ensure we move at pace to test our solutions with our target market. 

Going into 2023, I will be increasing my focus on the build and launch of our personal health profile app. It is an ambitious project, but one that so many have told us they need.  Our app will allow women to own their medical information, monitor symptoms, and share the information in a simple format with any medical professional. We are also looking into building in the option of identifying key women's health medical risk, which we genuinely feel will change lives.

My work at Bluefruit Software: 
- Company Director, sitting on the Board and providing quarterly board reports
- Created and maintained the growth strategy for the business, leading to multi-million-pound growth
- Doubled revenues in 2018 and again in 2019
- Established and grew the sales and marketing teams
- Introduced new account management practices, improving client retention rates and providing client support when needed
- Oversaw pricing strategy, rate reviews, and terms and conditions for new business
- Helped introduce and sell new services, including UX, verification and validation, test automation and Edge AI
- Successfully grew new business from the medical sector, specifically within the areas of medical devices and biopharmaceutical equipment

I also represented the company on several Boards around Cornwall.

•	Team Management: Responsible for 3 sales teams across London, New York and Seattle including line management for 4 sales professionals. I work directly with the CEO to set annual and quarterly targets and ensure that the teams are well supported to achieve results. This includes creating any needed sales and marketing material. I am also responsible for weekly reports and forecasts, delivered to the management team. Since I started with the company in 2009 my team has seen regular y.o.y growth of over 150%. Distilled now bill 6x what we did in the first year I started. 
•	Client Development: I work closely with Client Development Team to put together strong digital marketing solutions for prospective clients. This includes assessment of the client’s current situation and a proposal for how Distilled would manage their online marketing. Proposals require a strong understanding of current online marketing trends including but not limited to search engine marketing, conversion rate optimisation, social media marketing and content marketing. 
•	Winning New Business: I brought in new business from a number of large international companies including International Hotel Group, Red Bull, Wordpress, Minted, Amazon, Microsoft, Reed Recruitment, Prime Location, Trainline, Hotels.com, Thompson, and Staples. 
•	Business Development: Work on international lead generation campaigns, content marketing, and ongoing website improvements. Monitor business trends within the online marketing industry.
•	Management Team Member: Selected as one of 6 people to sit on the management team. Responsible for providing insights on Distilled growth based on current sales figures, lead trends, and the closing of new business.

- Responsible for the property section of The Field magazine including agency management, new business development, working on corporate events and incorporating new ideas. 
- When I started working on the title it was significantly below its annual target. By the time I left in November, the target for 2007 was reached. This included signing up a new contract advertiser, which I grew from direct presentations to the head of the company.

- Worked with other members of the Country Life property team to ensure that all targets were met and to grow business. 
- I helped to increase the sales of a monthly feature within the title and signed up contract business to these features for the first time, ensuring consistent revenue for the title.
