Brian Katz

Brian Katz is the Chief Executive Officer of Katz & Associates, a boutique retail real estate brokerage and advisory firm based in New York City. He has been in this role since 2016, overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the company, which has a significant presence across the eastern United States with offices in multiple states including New York, Florida, and North Carolina.

Katz has an extensive background in real estate, having completed transactions valued over $3 billion across various states including New York, New Jersey, and Florida. His experience includes managing market entry strategies and executing long-term plans for numerous national retail chains such as DSW Shoes, Saks OFF 5TH, and Warby Parker.13

Before becoming CEO, Brian held several positions within Katz & Associates, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for the Northeast Region. He began his career as a Project Manager at Forest City Ratner Companies, where he contributed to the development of significant retail spaces in New York City.12

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University and is a licensed real estate broker in multiple states. He has received several accolades for his work, including the CoStar Power Broker Award multiple times and recognition as one of Chain Store Age Real Estate’s "10 Under 40" in 2016.12
