Brian Katz

Brian Katz is a seasoned real estate executive with over two decades of experience in the industry. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Katz & Associates, where he is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day operations while also leading strategic planning and execution for his clients' real estate expansions and dispositions.

Brian's impressive transaction history includes deals valued in excess of $3 billion in NY, NJ, CT, PA, DE, MD, VA, DC, and FL, including numerous suburban and downtown lease and sale deals for several national chains such as DSW Shoes, Floor and Decor, Saks OFF 5TH, World Market, Party City, and Retro Fitness. He has extensive expertise in the retail landscape throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast and has led market entry assignments and strategy plans across multiple states and MSAs that resulted in long-term execution programs.

Before joining Katz & Associates, he worked as a Project Manager at Forest City Ratner, where he participated in the development of 2.1 million square feet of retail space throughout New York City, as well as managed 1 million square feet of operating properties.

Brian has received numerous awards and accolades, including the CoStar Power Broker Award six times and Chain Store Age Real Estate’s 10 Under 40 in 2016. He is also a licensed real estate broker in CT, FL, MD, NJ, NY, and VA and is a member of ICSC and The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

Brian studied at Penn State University, where he earned a BA degree.
