Brian Cone

Dr. Brian Cone is a dedicated professional focused on supporting STEM students in higher education.

With a background in advising, research, and teaching, Brian holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology - Applied Neuromechanics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

He also completed a Master of Arts in Kinesiology - Rehabilitation Science at San Diego State University-California State University, along with several other degrees in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

Brian's career spans various impactful roles such as Science Hub Program Manager and Pre-Professional Health And STEM Career Advisor at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Prior to this, he also contributed significantly as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Henry M Jackson Foundation and as a Fellow at the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership.

With experiences ranging from being a GSA President to a Summer Fellow at The National Institutes of Health, Brian has showcased versatility and leadership in his professional journey.
