Elizabeth Ramos
Elizabeth Ramos is an experienced educator and leader in the field of higher education, with over 15 years of dedicated service to guiding and educating diverse student populations. She has held various roles in different academic institutions, including serving as the Assistant Dean of Social Sciences, Business, and History at Union County College.
Ramos has a Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership (Higher Education) from Saint Peter's University, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Counseling with a Student Affairs Concentration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, both from College of Saint Elizabeth.
Throughout her career, Ramos has focused on developing initiatives to improve STEM education and increase opportunities for underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. She served as the Project Director of the Title V Cooperative Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) grants, the Director of Improving the Pipeline in STEM Education, and the STEMpact Project Director, all at Union County College.
Aside from her work in STEM education, Ramos has also worked in student development, financial aid, and admissions counseling. Her broad range of experience makes her a well-rounded professional with an excellent track record in education leadership.
